The ultimate Bitaxe Gamma cooling solution: The 52pi Low-Profile Plus Heatsink Kit, including thick Copper Shim and r1.2 PETG Mounts with stainless steel hardware. Everything you need to upgrade the cooling on your Bitaxe Gamma. Includes all hardware. Comes with a 50mm fan - but realistically to take advantage of the incredible cooling capabilities of this system it should be paired with a 120mm fan and of course, the Giant Squid!
This product has been adapted from its original use on the Raspberry Pi 5. It is the highest performing heatsink on the market. It has a very large contact block, four copper heat-transfer tubes, and a massive heat exchanger.
The heatsink is supplied with everything in the factory box, PLUS two Bitaxe and Chill custom r1.2 Mounts printed in PETG including four stainless steel standoffs, PLUS a 20x20mm x 1.5mm thick copper shim. The shim is sized to span ALL FOUR copper pipes placed diagonally as shown, and is extra thick for best heat transfer.
All hardware is included to mount the 52pi Low-Profile Plus heatsink to your Bitaxe Gamma, including custom Bitaxe and Chill r1.2 PETG Mounts with M2.5 stainless steel standoffs and M2.5 capscrews. Much stronger, easier to install, and a guaranteed fit versus some of the free downloadable designs. Includes all contents of the factory 52pi LPP kit including the factory fan.
Note that due to 52pi factory production processes beyond my control, there is a certain amount of 'unsquareness' :) in this amazing product. It does not affect cooling performance in any way (maybe it makes it better :). Just note that there will be expanded tolerances in the heatblock to fin plane angle, the heatblock mounting to fin pack rotation angle, the exposure distance of each of the copper tubes, and other asymmetries. The Giant Squid has been designed with expanded tolerances to accommodate the variability, and will provide maximum performance regardless!
